To my fellow concerned parents and citizens,

The AmberWatch Alert System was built to be used as a weapon against child predators. By arming ourselves with information, and working together as a national community of moms, dads, grandparents, and neighbors, we can all protect our children in new, more effective ways than ever before. We can fight back against circumstance by taking preventative measures. We can rise up and reject a status quo that has tacitly accepted silence and fear. We can push back and stop tragedy before it happens. And we can no longer afford to be polite or quiet or shy about it.

The "Mom's Weapon of Choice" campaign was created with this attitude in mind; as an aggressive push to remind us all that the power to change things -- the power to take control of our world -- is ours only if we unite and stand together. We want people to see mothers as warriors, strong and steadfast, united under a common goal, and prepared for battle. By banding together under this empowering new alert system and the community-sourced knowledge base that powers it, we then become forces to be reckoned with.

The more parents that sign up, the more eyes and ears we will have armed with the information and power to fight back against child predators!
